Who controls and processes your personal data?

Data Controller for your data is the company under the name “Homo Digitalis Civil Non-Profit Organization”, based in Athens, Paralou 12 & Achniadon 17-19 street.

  • Our website is hosted in the European Union by Hetzner Online GmbH.
  • If you contact us through our contact form our via email, your data is always stored within the European Union.
  • The authorized company’s employees, members and associates process your data.

All the above-mentioned parties are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Why and on which legal basis do we process your personal data?

  • To provide you with our news via our newsletter, based on your consent.
  • To assess your application as a member or employee, based on the pre-contractual steps taken by you.

How long do we keep your data for?

  • If you apply to become a Homo Digitalis member, we shall retain your application until we assess your application and as long as you are a Homo Digitalis member.
  • If you apply as an employee, we shall retain your data as follows: (a) if you apply for an open position, we shall retain your data based on the notice provided in the open position, (b) if you send an unsolicited application, we shall retain your data until the end of the next calendar year.
