Homo Digitalis in the journal KATHIMERINI

Recently we have seen more and more electronic fraud, mainly involving banking transactions. The newspaper “Kathimerini” has published a concise and inclusive article analysing the phenomenon with the help of experts. The president of Homo Digitalis, Elpida Vamvaka, gave useful advice that we should follow in order not to fall victim to electronic fraud.

It is important to inform our loved ones about the risk and not to share our passwords.

As Elpida Vamvaka explains, “we see that passwords, apart from being identical for many different applications, are shared with parents, partners or friends”, increasing the risk of exposure to online fraud.

We would like to thank journalist Yannis Papadopoulos for the article and for his cooperation.
