On May 17<\/strong>, Homo Digitalis<\/strong> had the great honor of participating in TEDxPatras<\/strong> at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras<\/strong>, proudly representing NGI TALER<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We delivered a 40-minute workshop<\/strong>, during which we had the opportunity to discuss digital payments<\/strong>, business models that track consumer behavior for profit<\/strong>, the relevant legal framework<\/strong>, and the importance of reshaping the future of digital payments<\/strong> with a focus on privacy protection<\/strong> and promoting free software solutions<\/strong> like GNU TALER (Taler Systems S.A.)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Our presentation also highlighted the ongoing funding calls<\/strong><\/a> under the NGI TALER<\/strong> project, as well as the academic materials<\/strong> that have been developed and are freely available on the NGI TALER website<\/a>.<\/p>\n
