uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;200244&#8243; column_width_pixel=&#8221;746&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;160342&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"191\"><strong data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"121\">The Greek National Commission for Human Rights (GNCHR) welcomed the NGO Homo Digitalis to its offices on May 13, 2025<\/strong>, for a meeting focused on digital rights and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"193\" data-end=\"553\">Among other topics, the discussion covered recent developments in the field of emerging technologies, the <strong data-start=\"299\" data-end=\"333\">EU Artificial Intelligence Act<\/strong> and its implementation, as well as the <strong data-start=\"373\" data-end=\"415\">role of the GNCHR under the Regulation<\/strong>, following its designation as one of the authorities referred to in <strong data-start=\"484\" data-end=\"553\">Article 77 (Powers of Fundamental Rights Monitoring Authorities).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"555\" data-end=\"594\">Participants in the meeting included <strong data-start=\"597\" data-end=\"626\">Professor Maria Gavouneli<\/strong>, President of the GNCHR, <strong data-start=\"655\" data-end=\"674\">Elli Varchalama<\/strong>, Second Vice-President of the GNCHR, <strong data-start=\"715\" data-end=\"738\">Dr. Christos Tsevas<\/strong>, Special Scientist, <strong>Eleftherios\u00a0Chelioudakis<\/strong>, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Homo Digitalis and <strong data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"868\">Lambrini Gyftokosta<\/strong>, Director of Human Rights &amp;
