We are proud to announce the official launch of a collaborative and inclusive network<\/strong>, committed to the protection and promotion of Human Rights, Democracy, and the Rule of Law<\/strong> in the development and use of Artificial Intelligence systems in Greece<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The network was born out of a multi-stakeholder dialogue<\/strong> initiated during the February 2025 event organized by Homo Digitalis<\/strong>, in light of the implementation of the European Artificial Intelligence Regulation (Regulation 2024\/1689).<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The mission of the network is to serve as a space for collaboration, advocacy, legal interventions, and public awareness<\/strong>, ensuring that AI systems in Greece comply with fundamental rights and democratic values<\/strong>, as enshrined in the Greek Constitution<\/strong>, the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights<\/strong>, and the European Convention on Human Rights<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The working title<\/strong> of the network is Greek Artificial Intelligence Network \u2013 GAIN<\/strong>. The founding conference<\/strong>, which will take place within three (3) months<\/strong>, will determine the network\u2019s governance framework, guiding principles<\/strong>, and future direction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The initiative is coordinated by Homo Digitalis<\/strong>, with the support of the European Artificial Intelligence & Society Fund (EAISF)<\/strong>, and is open to any interested organization<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
