On Thursday, February 27<\/strong>, Homo Digitalis<\/strong> organized the first-ever workshop on the AI Act for Civil Society Organizations<\/strong> in Greece at its offices in ViOS Coworking Space!<\/strong><\/p>\n

More than 20 organizations<\/strong> participated, coming from diverse backgrounds but sharing a common interest: collaborating on the challenges and opportunities arising from the AI Act.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Event Highlights<\/strong><\/h3>\n

During the event, we presented our three thematic studies<\/strong> on the AI Act:
-Fundamental Rights Impact Assessments (FRIAs)<\/strong>
-Supervisory Authorities & AI Governance Ecosystem<\/strong>
-Prohibited Practices<\/strong><\/p>\n

We also hosted thematic discussion groups<\/strong> on four key topics:
-Environment & Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>
-Business Practices & Algorithmic Transparency<\/strong>
-AI in Policing & Migration<\/strong>
-AI Systems, Democracy & the Information Society<\/strong><\/p>\n
