{"id":133778,"date":"2024-12-19T11:36:02","date_gmt":"2024-12-19T09:36:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/homodigitalis.gr\/posts\/133778\/"},"modified":"2024-12-20T11:36:18","modified_gmt":"2024-12-20T09:36:18","slug":"we-successfully-completed-our-voluntary-awareness-actions-in-10-schools-across-attica-for-the-period-october-december-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/homodigitalis.gr\/en\/posts\/133778\/","title":{"rendered":"We Successfully Completed Our Voluntary Awareness Actions in 10 Schools Across Attica for the Period October\u2013December 2024!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column column_width_use_pixel=&#8221;yes&#8221; gutter_size=&#8221;3&#8243; overlay_alpha=&#8221;50&#8243; shift_x=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y=&#8221;0&#8243; shift_y_down=&#8221;0&#8243; z_index=&#8221;0&#8243; medium_width=&#8221;0&#8243; mobile_width=&#8221;0&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;200244&#8243; column_width_pixel=&#8221;746&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;843418&#8243;]During this school year, from October 2024 to December 2024, <strong>Homo Digitalis<\/strong> focused its voluntary awareness efforts on schools in Athens!<\/p>\n<p>With the invaluable support of <strong>Education Consultant Ms. Christina Kalfoglou<\/strong>, <strong>Psychologist Ms. Elina Kardara<\/strong>, and <strong>School Consultant Ms. Maria Panta<\/strong>, we visited <strong>10 schools<\/strong> (public and private junior and high schools) and conducted <strong>16 presentations<\/strong> for approximately <strong>1,400 students, educators, and parents<\/strong> on the topics digital footprint and cyberbullying.<\/p>\n<p>We learned a great deal about the apps children use and the risks they face on various social media platforms. We also discussed the challenges they encounter when trying to report issues on these platforms, often without resolving their problems!<\/p>\n<p>Students shared incidents of cyberbullying and online violence with us, and we talked about ways to address and support them.
